Musing: A Letter to Anxiety

Dear Anxiety, I'm writing you this letter today to express how I feel about you. I know you're not a person, but you've been a part of my life for so long that it feels like you are. You're the voice in my head that tells me I'm not good enough, that I'm going to fail, that something bad is going to happen. You're the feeling of tightness in my chest and the racing heart that keeps me up at night.I know you're trying to protect me, but you're also holding me back. You're preventing me from living my life to the fullest. I'm tired. I'm tired of being afraid. I'm tired of letting you control me. I want to be free. But I'm not giving up on myself.
